The 4-week or 6-week workshops are generally held each season (spring, summer, fall and winter) usually on a Wednesday or a Friday evening in Toronto and on Mondays or Tuesdays in Grey County from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The program involves learning, practicing and reviewing mindfulness techniques. Each week, homework is assigned to assist in learning and developing a personal mindfulness practice. One is asked to commit to 45-60 minutes per day for homework for the duration of the program.
The program is offered through Dana/Donation (according to your means).
Over the course of the workshops participants will be able to:
- Apply the techniques learned to everyday living.
- Share and discuss experiences in a safe and confidential environment.
- Explore what was challenging and learn how to work through the challenges.
- Look at what worked specifically for individual needs.

A mandatory short interview will then be scheduled to explore goals and discuss the appropriateness of attending a workshop at this time and how this program might help you.
One-day Mindfulness Retreat
At the completion of the four, six or eight-week mindfulness program, a one-day mindfulness meditation retreat will be arranged. The body of work that one has learned and practiced will be reviewed. It is an excellent refresher course and encourages the new mindfulness practitioner. More details about upcoming one-day retreats can be found here.
