The Mindfulness Center of Grey Bruce offers mindfulness meditation sittings in the Owen Sound area. We also offer one on one guidance for mindfulness practice in person or through video call.
Monthly meditation drop-in classes as well as 4 week courses are offered for those who are interested in exploring and adding meditation to one’s life for health and well-being. Classes incorporate the work and knowledge of current research being done in the mindfulness meditation and health fields. Meditation is well-known as a tool to help reduce/release stress, anxiety and depression and to manage acute or chronic pain. It promotes relaxation and deeper clarity and concentration for daily living.
The meditation sittings are both guided and silent. Classes include both sitting and walking meditation and a short talk. No meditation experience is required.
Lectures and Workshops are offered in the Grey Bruce area throughout the year.
